Why is the TBK R2201 a convenient Workstation?
The TBK R2201 workstation is a laser soldering station with an extensive soldering area compared to the rival Mijing/Triangel
The Triangel/MJ welding area ranges from 5 to 10mm, while the TBK R2201 welding area ranges from 15 to 30mm
Three different tools are included which give three main advantages:
Advantage number 1:
The advantage of a laser soldering station compared to a traditional one lies in the type of heating that is carried out; the laser soldering, if well set, mainly heats only the interested IC without damaging the neighbouring areas and the lower part of the motherboard, avoiding any damage to the components located near the one you intend to unsolder, or placed on the opposite side.
Advantage number 2:
The thermal infrared camera (with a monitor included in the machine’s mainframe) allows keeping under continuous control the temperature of the areas to be welded with extreme precision, avoiding extreme heat that could damage the components
Advantage number 3:
The excellent quality of the digital camera is combined with a high-performance lens capable of a wide field of view and gives you the ability to zoom to over 50 optical magnifications allowing you to keep the entire welding area under visual control (via the built-in monitor).
This also gives you the possibility to precisely inspect the welding result during and after the intervention, without even moving the motherboard from the beginning of the process.
Of course, both the infrared camera and the digital microscope can be used separately to inspect motherboards and diagnose defects
The size of the new TBK R2201 is very compact, making it also an ideal solution for small technical assistance workshops
